It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine A. Encke of New Windsor, New York, who passed away on July 31, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George F. Encke and Catherine B. Encke (Maloney); and her sister Patricia A. Encke. She is survived by: her children, Amanda L. Thomas (James) of Cornwall-On and Michael V. Hollis, Jr. of New Windsor, NY; her grandchildren, James Peter and Emma Catherine Thomas; and her siblings, Kim Encke Mullins of Newburgh, NY, George Michael "Mimi" Encke (Jean) of Bronxville, NY, John P. Encke (Lisa) of Highland Mills, NY and James T. Encke (George) of Tampa, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home Inc. (337 Hudson St, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Marianne Cope Parish (340 Hudson St, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520).
