With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald R. Briggs Sr. of New Windsor, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 26, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gerald farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gerald is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Briggs; his children, Latisha Briggs, Jerri Briggs and Gerald Briggs Jr.; his daughter-in-law Devonaire Briggs; and his grandchildren, Chazzattie, Breaonna, Gerald Briggs III, James, Camille, Jurnee and Jordyn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home (2 Beekman St, Beacon, NY 12508).
