It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Patrick Bowie of New Windsor, New York, born in Newburgh, New York, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Fredrick Bowie and Ellamae Cook Bowie; his wife Jackie Jolle; his son James Popper; and his brothers, Robert J. Bowie, William R. Bowie, Joseph A Bowie and Donald Gordon.

He is survived by : his daughter Linda L. Popper; and his siblings, Laura Cosgrove (William), Darlene Jollie (Fred), Pamela Bowie (Chris), Donna Bowie and Thomas D. Bowie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
