He is survived by: his wife Mildred Ray; his sons, Alfred Ray, Jr. and Gary Lamont Ray; his grandchildren, Na'gee Unique Ray, Gevelle Jordan Ray and Christopher Bryan Ray; and his siblings, Willie C., Susie Mae, LaFayette and Mary Alice (James) of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
