He is survived by: his wife Marcia Burnett; his children, William DeVaughn, Omar Orukpe and Ashli DeVaughn (Kiah); his grandson KJ "Lion" Gidron; his mother Evelyn Alston King (Thurston); his siblings, Tashana Alston, Kissten Alston, Shawnda Nesbitt, Adriene Nesbitt, Vanessa Nesbitt, Kim Nesbitt, Shawn Alston (Allison), Keith Nesbitt and Howard Nesbitt; his aunts and uncles, Harriet Alston, Jean Campanioni, Alfreda Alston, Barbara Cole, John Alston, James Alston and Frank Cole; and his close friend Derrick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
