He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Singleton and Alvin Singleton, Sr.; and his sister Alvita. He is survived by: his daughter Christen; his former wife Charlene Walker; his sisters, Ernestine Singleton, Alfrieda Singleton and Alvina Singleton (late Alvita Singleton); and his aunt Janie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
