Andrea Castaldo Obituary

Andrea Castaldo passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of his three daughters.

He was born on April 15, 1930, in Gallo, Italy. As a young man, Andrea moved to Argentina, where he met the love of his life, his forever wife, Maria. Together, they later settled in New York, where they built a life centered on family, hard work, and enduring love.

Andrea was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and father-in-law. His greatest joy came from the time he spent with his family, especially his six beloved grandchildren: Christopher, Nicky, Dylan, Alyssa, John, and Carly, who brought him immense pride and happiness.

He will be remembered for his deep love of gardening, his passion for watching his beloved Napoli soccer team, and the warmth and care he showed to everyone around him. Andrea's life was rooted in love, tradition, and the simple joys of nature and family.

He is survived by his loving family, including his wife Maria Castaldo, daughters Lina Cipollone (Pat), Maria Castaldo , Sylvia Carozza (Steven), and Grandchildren.

Andrea's legacy of love, strength, and devotion will live on in all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that a tree be planted in his honor, reflecting his lifelong love of nature.
