He was predeceased by: his parents, Lafayette "Fate" Lipford and Ida Lue Rearden-Lipford; and his siblings, James Andrew, Curtis, John, Louise and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his sisters, Reverend Ida Mae Shipman of Greenwood, Ruby Phillips (Larry) of Simpsonville and Diane Strawter of Leary. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives.
