He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicodemus Williams and Ruby Hollingworth Williams; his siblings, George W. Williams, Sarah Williams, Ruby M. Dobbs, Johnny Williams, Charlie Williams, Louis Williams, Lillie Bell Robinson and Martha Lawson; and his stepchildren, McKinley Davis, Michael T. Davis and Myra Michelle Davis-Sutherland.
He is survived by: his significant other Mary Evelyn Wilson Williams; his daughters, Sylvia Williams of Brooklyn, NY and Verna Williams of Brooklyn, NY; his siblings, Fannie Jones of Greenwood, SC, Eva Williams of Brooklyn, NY and Minister Jesse Williams (Brenda) of Saluda, SC; his sister-in-law Alma Williams; his stepson Larry Darnell Davis of Suffolk Virginia; and his adoptive children, James Williams, Julius Williams, Bianca Claxton, Charlotte of North Carolina, Jeffrey Williams and Manhattan of New York. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and many great grands; nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
