He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gabler Wendel and Roberta A. Cutrupi; and his sister Roberta Hope Wendel. He is survived by: his sons, Samuel A. Wendel of Miami, FL and Benjamin M. Wendel of London, England; and his sister Barbara Bentley-Nash.
