He was predeceased by: his parents, John Corcoran and Jane Corcoran; and his sister Diane Corcoran. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Russell Corcoran (Carol) of New York and Chad Corcoran (Sherry) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Sophia and Ian Corcoran; and his brother Kevin Corcoran (Betsy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
