He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Bland; his brothers, Robert and George Bland; and his stepfather Abner Landing. He is survived by: his mother Laurella Bland Landing; his brothers, Ernest Bland of New York and Melvin Bland (Joy) of Atlantic City; his sister-in-law Robin Bland; and his aunt Drisella Hill of Virginia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins, and friends.
