Dennis Samuel Elmowitz Obituary
Dennis Samuel Elmowitz, age 71, of New York, New York died on Monday April 6, 2020 at 10:30 am. Dennis had fought a two year long battle with cancer, which makes his passing of Covid-19 even more bewildering and devastating.
Dennis was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 15, 1948 and was the son of the late David and Molly Elmowitz. Dennis and his wife Ana (Ramos) Elmowitz resided in the neighborhood of Murray Hill, New York in the Chesapeake House for over 35 years. Dennis was a beloved husband, pop-pop, brother, son, uncle, great uncle and friend.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents David and Molly (Lieberman) Elmowitz and brother Sheldon Elmowitz.
Dennis is survived by his wife Ana, her daughter Deanna and husband Anthony Medina and their children Alyssa, Hunter and Benicio Medina. His two brothers; Norman Elmowitz, and Stanley and Judy Elmowitz, his extended family; Allan Elmowitz, Darren Elmowitz, Debra & Dylan (Elmowitz) Rauch, Melissa, Juliane & Lindsay (Elmowitz) Mandel and the entire Lieberman Family.
