She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Rivera and Carmen Espaillat; and her brothers, Manolo Rivera, Jose "Chiquitin" Rivera, Cesar Rivera, Radhames Rivera and Julio "Julito" Rivera.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carmen Bittel, Francely Jaquez and Michelle Jaquez; her son-in-law David Bittel; her grandchildren, George Bittel, Eliza Cepeda, Emma Cepeda, Jeremy Michael Garcia and Jase Garcia; and her sisters, Fabiola Reyes, Nieves Gomez and Gladys Rivera.
