He was predeceased by: his parents, Anita "Pearl" Chavis and Phillip Chavis, Sr.; and his brothers, Phillip Chavis, Jr. and Donald Chavis. He is survived by: his spouse Debi Coldiron; his daughter Chloe Chavis; his sister Karen Chavis-Hale; his sibling's children, Anitra Hale-King (Aaron King) and Lewis Hale III; and his friends, Ellis, Garry, Robert, Daniel, Gene, Kimberly, Terron, Monique and Teliyah. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews; relatives.
