He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Gordon Cox and Marion B. Cox (Wiggins); and his siblings, Aubrey Hutchison of Colorado and Louise Ainsworth of Connecticut. He is survived by: his daughter Ellenor W. Cox; his son-in-law James Joyce; and his grandson Colin Joyce. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
