She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayes U. Shelton and Flora Bard Shelton; and her siblings, Wallace Shelton, Ernest Shelton, Herman Shelton, David Shelton and Thelma Shelton Leggs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Natalie J. Spencer and Sandra J. Spencer; her grandchildren, Isaiah W. Figueroa, Akilah A. Figueroa, Aleah Y. Figueroa and Anisia A. Figueroa; her great grandchild Terrence J. Patrick-Jenkins; and her siblings, Lawrence Shelton (Jaunita), Walter R. Shelton, Hayes L. Shelton (Barbara) and Lauretta Shelton Allen (Charles). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
