She was predeceased by: her parents, Ike Dennis and Mattie Mae Dennis (Key); and her siblings, Phosie, Cloria Dennis, John and Lemule Dennis.
She is survived by: her children, Orrin Wayne Young (Cynthia) and Alicia Renee Monroe (Ulysses, Jr.); her grandchildren, Ulysses R. Monroe, Alexander R. Monroe, Taylor M. Young, Matthew B. Young and Christopher J. Young; her great grandchild LaTerry Monroe; and her sibling's children, Martha Williams, Jane Lampley, Sandra Posey and John Thomas Dennis. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
