She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Frederick R. Shepherd and Bette Shepherd; her husband John Kimball Tallarico; her children, Morgan Shepherd Bartholomew (Zachary Bartholomew) and Graham Shepherd Bradler; the father of her children Christopher Bradler; and her sisters, Fran Van Tienen of Clinton, CT, Lois Shepherd of Osprey, FL and Laura Deykerhoff of Little Silver, NJ.

In remembrance of Helen's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Future Farmers of America (FFA).
