It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Davis (New York, New York), who passed away on August 14, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaiah Williams and Johnnie; her daughter Vali; and her children-in-law, James Burgess, Thomas Gelzer and Charles Yon.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Davis; her brother Leroy Williams; her daughters, Debra and Lisa; her grandchildren, Alexis, Jonathan, Justin, Autumn and Jennifer; and her great grandchildren, Alora, Kyle and Justyce.
The family asks that donations be made in Irene's memory to one of the following organizations that reflect her life's passions: Save The Children, The Loveland Foundation, National Kidney Foundation.
