He is survived by: his children, Anthony Young of Bronx, Janice Young of Chesapeake, VA, Eva Young of Bronx, NY and Deborah Dowdy of Virginia Beach, VA; his son-in-law Sidney Dowdy Jr.; his grandchildren, Cory Jeremiah Young, Tyrone Jackson Young (Leslie), Sidney Dowdy, III, Andre Valin Dale, Damian Devon Dowdy and Dashawn Marcus Dowdy; his great grandchildren, Raiyna Jacqueline Young, Journei Young, Esmarai, Cory Young, Jr., John Young, Jhante Young and Kinston Young; his siblings, John Henry of Bronx, NY, Carolyn Maloney of Conyers, GA, Reggie Young of Charleston, SC, Retha Young of Staten Island, NY and Sidney Young of Virginia Beach, VA; and his close friend Judy McKinley. He is also survived by "Daddy" to his children and "Poppa" to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
