Though Jerrauld may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jerrauld touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilary H. Jones, Jr. and Corinne Davis Jones. He is survived by: his son Jerrauld "Jay" Charles Corey Jones (Jerrauld); his wife Lyn M. Simmons Jones; his daughter-in-law Mavis Baah Jones; his grandsons, Charles Edward Jerrauld Jones and Zachary David Hilary Jones; his brothers, Hilary H. Jones III and Darryl C. Jones; his siblings-in-law, Charles W. Simmons, III and Renee G. Jones; and his nieces, Tori Johnson and Morgin Williams. He is also survived by several grand-nephews, nieces and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ & St. Luke's Episcopal Church (560 W Olney Rd, Norfolk, VA 23507).
