He was predeceased by: his parents, Lautia Sherman and Nat Sherman; and his brother Barry. He is survived by: his children, Bill (Marla), Michele (Barry) and Larry (Maureen); and his grandchildren, Madeline, Wylie, Cole, Alex, Emily, Emma, Annie and Bridget.

Joel Sherman 85 died peacefully September 9, 2024 at the home in Englewood, New Jersey following a long and valiant battle with Parkinson's Disease.
