He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Phelan and Margaret Phelan; and his siblings, Nuala, Jim and Paddy.
He is survived by: his siblings, Tom, Anne and Brigid; and his wife Sheila Flynn of Ballyduff Upper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
