She is survived by: her husband Julian Castro; her children, Julian Jr. (Jay), Juan (Carolina), Reinaldo (Orquidia) and Annette Aprea (Frank); her grandchildren, Joesy Castro-Adams (Adam), Elijah Castro (Katrina), Michael Aprea and Sophia Castro; and her great grandchildren, Isaac Adams (Samaria), Joshua Adams, Benjamin Adams, David Castro and Eliza Castro.
Josephine developed Alzheimer's/Dementia in 2018, she kept her way about her throughout the last 7 years.
