He is survived by: his son Stephen (Ylanda) of Greenville, SC.; his wife Zeddie Boyd; his daughter Alisa Boyd of Dorchester; his siblings, Dorothy Hill of Harleyville and Douglas Boyd of Summerville; his grandchildren, Brainard Bryant Jr., Second Lieutenant Michael J. Edwards and Christyiana Boyd; and his siblings-in-law, Herman DeLee, Ellen Boyd, Carrie Belle DeLee and Queen Ester Brooks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
