He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Venables and Kathleen Venables; his wife Eileen Venables; and his son Brian Venables. He is survived by: his children, Steven Venables (Janice) of Spring Lake, NJ, Thomas Venables (Luane) of Delray Beach, FL, Eileen Lundy (Edward) and Scott of Wall, NJ; and his daughter-in-law Sara Venables of Wall Twp. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
In 1992 he was awarded a "FIFI" from the Fragrance Foundation for his creation of an industry best, Burberry Fragrance.
