He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Diaz and Florentino Diaz; and his siblings, Olga, Ismael, Florentino and Charlie.
He is survived by: his sister Martha; his wife Luz Diaz of New York City; and his children, Stacy Diaz of New York City, Nancy Pechar (Todd) of Macungie, PA and Julius Diaz (Kate) of Basking Ridge, NJ. He is also survived by his four grandchildren.
