She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marion Whelan (McDonough) and John J. Whelan; her sisters, Maureen Whelan Flood (late Edmund) of Bridgewater, NJ and Virginia Whelan Howard (Donald) of White Plains; her siblings' children, Edmund R. Flood (Tracey), Virginia Flood, Kathleen Friery (Timothy), Patricia Hojnoski (Robert), Anne-Marie Whelan (John Deck), Christopher Whelan (Lee), Maureen Michels (John), Ellen Priest (Christopher) and Kevin Howard (Emily Menez); and her siblings, John K. Whelan and Joan Whelan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flynn Memorial (1652 Central Park Avenue, YONKERS, NY 10710). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (170 Bradhurst Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Calvary Hospital or Habitat for Humanity would be appreciated.
