It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Borzacchiello in New York, New York, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sons, Carmelo Scollo and Giuseppe "Joe" Borzacchiello. She is survived by: her husband Antonio Borzacchiello; her children, Assunta "Sue" Scollo, Vinny (Alison), Mario (Holly) and Frank (Maureen); her grandchildren, John (ToniAnn), Anthony (Patricia), Elisabeth (Ryan), Gina, Michael (Jalissa), Nicholas, Christina (Austin), Mario Jay, Dominick, Bisnonna of Giovanni and Giuliana; and her sister Angela Maiolino.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dignity Works Here, Inc., an organization near and dear to the family's heart, supporting meaningful opportunities for individuals with autism, including her grandson, Mario Jay.
