With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maura Vill of New York, New York, who passed away on May 26, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank McCarthy and Eileen McCarthy; her grandmother Maura; her husband Neil; her mother-in-law Beatrice "Nana" Vill; her siblings, Frankie McCarthy and Gail Villani; her daughter-in-law Beverly Vill; and her brothers-in-law, John Williams and Ray Vilar.
She is survived by: her sons, Neil (Carrie), Bob (Li) and Pete (Ginny); her sisters, Virginia Vilar and Sharon Williams; her brother-in-law Bob Villani; her grandchildren, Jennifer Roberts (Harley), Julia Mehra (Rohan), Tracey Vill, Taylor Vill, Maddie Vill, Collin Vill and Christine Vill; and her great grandchildren, Caroline Roberts, Margot Mehra and Addie Roberts.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the The Breakers (1507 Ocean Ave N, Spring Lake, NJ 07762).
