He is survived by: his mother Bertha Mae Brewer; his children, Tasha Thompson, Keisha Jackson and Gerald Johnson, Sr. (Alisha); his grandchildren, Nyasia Thompson, Aniyah Campbell, Iicyss Kennedy, Tyreese Kennedy, Akira Jackson, Gekory Jackson, Keymonte Johnson, Elye Johnson, Khalyle Johnson, Devin Johnson, Leah Johnson, Giulan Johnson and Gerald Johnson, Jr.; his close friend Peaches; his brothers, Kenneth Slaughter, Michael Brewer (Linda) and Rodney Brewer (Nicole); his uncle Arnett Brewer; and his aunts, Eloise Parker, Phoebe B. Guise, Jean Jones, Mary Hall and Doris Brewer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, family, and friends.
