Orlando Caesar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orlando Caesar (Harlem, New York), passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 83, surrounded by his family. He was born in Georgetown, Guyana, Ward 6 to the late Fitzgerald and Veronica (Otto) Caesar. Orlando was a professional welder both in Guyana and New York. He was affiliated with The International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 813, where he served as shop steward advocating for his colleagues. He retired from Waste Management in 2001. He leaves to mourn his wife: Shirley Robinson-Caesar; Children: Robin (Keith) Frith, Winston Caesar, Jay (Anna) Caesar, Karen Ann (Owen) Giles, Kirk (Trina) Caesar and Alvin Caesar. 26 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren, Brothers: Henrick, Bertie, Courtney, Littlyton, Wesley, Alvin and Terry. Sisters: Eileen and Juliet, as well as a host of extended family and friends. Orlando was predeceased by his parents Fitzgerald & Veronica and brothers: Bumpy, Leonard, Carl, and Hector.

Visitation for family and friends is Saturday December 19th, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Owens Funeral Home, 216 Lenox Ave. Harlem.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service of 40 will be held at the conclusion of visitation. Face coverings are required when entering and while in the building and social distancing and contact tracing protocols must be observed.
