He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine "Kay" Barcoe; his siblings, Tommy, Joe, Gerry Hartigan and Nollie Carew; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph Heraghty, Thomas O'Riordan and Micheal Carew.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary O'Riordan, Anne O'Connor, Lilly Heraghty and Paul Hartigan; his siblings-in-law, John O'Connor, Martin Foley, Jean Hartigan, Maryanne Hartigan, Betty Hartigan and Claire Hartigan; and his friends, Tom and Bill. He is also survived by uncle and granduncle to his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc. (321 S Main St, New City, NY 10956).
