She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Waller Winters and Ruth Winters of New York City; and her son Gerald Butler. She is survived by: her children, Renee Winters Edwards, Michael Winters, Mark Winters, Nicole Edwards, Ida Edwards (Antonio), Isyis Winter Blakeney, Douglas Edwards Jr. (Aniya), Nova Edwards of Charlotte, NC and Finally.
