Shannah Rae Idleman Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on September 19, 2025, at the age of 48, Shannah Rae Idleman of New York, New York, born in Little Rock, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Shannah's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Shannah has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She is survived by: her parents, Charles Idleman and Marsha Rae Idleman (Fulcher) of Carthage, MO; her brother Joel Idleman; her sibling-in-law Celisse Hecq; and her siblings, Christopher Idleman (Tiffini) and Angel Derfelt Murphy of Ft. Worth, TX..

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Metro Baptist Church clothing ministry in care of the funeral home.
