It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William John Meir in New York, New York, who passed away on August 22, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though William has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Meir and Alyce Meir; and his stepmother Alvera Meir. He is survived by: his significant other Pam Andresen; his brother Chuck Meir (Jackie); his stepsiblings, David Jensen (Denise), Steve Jensen, Jan Munson (John) and Jeneen Ablan; and his friend Pam Andresen. He is also survived by nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
