He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis E. Mersinger and Pearl F. Mersinger (Fleury); and his siblings, Audrey McDonald (Mersinger), Beverly Richardson (Mersinger), Kathleen Aubin (Mersinger), Marie Robideau (Mersinger), Janice Wood (Mersinger), Gary Mersinger, Wayne Mersinger, James Mersinger and Gerald Mersinger.

He is survived by: his wife Terry Mersinger (LaBarge); his children, Tonya Yeoman (Rich II) and Dana Adams (Thomas Jr.); his grandchildren, Ty Kommer, Bailey Mersinger and Dakota Montondo; his great grandchild Susan Mersinger; his sister Nancy Brown (Mersinger); and also Robert Morales, Jr..
