He is survived by: his wife Hilda Ashford (Sue); his children, Deborah Buchanan, Laurie Luenella (Michael) and Douglas Buchanan (Rose); and his grandchildren, Jordan, Kathryn, Drew Luenella, Jenna, Chelsea, Taylor and Jason Buchanan.
In lieu of flowers a memorial can be made in his name to LyonsCentral School Music and Fine Arts Department.
