He was predeceased by: his parents, Rafael "Ralph" A. Marcano and Petra Marcano (Flores); his wife Elinor; his grandchild Adrien Vargas; his son-in-law Ronald Scott; and his siblings, Ralph Marcano and Florence Polverino (Erine).

He is survived by: his children, Marjorie Marcano, Jain Vargas (Winston), Susan Scott, Emmanuel Jr. Marcano (Nancy), Eric Marcano (Sue), Orrin Marcano (Michelle) and Tomas Marcano (Amy). He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
