She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter and Florence (Orcutt); the father of her children Fred Ames; and her husband John Shimonsky. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Ames and Nadine Rosenblum (Micah); her grandchildren, Harrison Rosenblum and Artemis Rosenblum; her brother Philip Montgomery; her nephew Timothy Montgomery; and her niece Megan Montgomery. She is also survived by friends and neighbors.
