He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tricarico and Mary Cantelmi Tricarico; his son Jeffrey; and his brothers, John and Eugene.

He is survived by: his wife Harriet; his children, Richard Tricarico Jr. (Marie), Sharon Grafmuller (Paul) of Whitesboro, NY and Susan Gravino (Todd) of Victor; his grandchildren, Matt Grafmuller (Jasmine), Alexa McNamara (Chris), Michael Tricarico, Joseph Tricarico, Anthony Tricarico, Madison Gravino, Jordan Gravino, Taylor Gravino and Thomas Gravino; and his siblings, MaryAnn Tricarico VanHanehan and Ronald Tricarico (Patricia). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
