She was predeceased by: her parents, George J. Leaird and Dorothy S. Leaird; her stepfather Henry W. Palmer; and her siblings, Betty Washburn, Nancy Facer and George W. Leaird.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Laurette (Kenneth Cox) and Kimberlee Murphy (James); and her grandson Martin Murphy.
