He is survived by: his parents, Edward T. Kiernan and Linda S. Kiernan; his friend Diana; his significant other Diana; his children, Jesi Niebuhr and Alysa Goodwin (Matthew Goodwin); his grandchildren, Audrianna, Mason and Mother Linda S. Kiernan; his brothers, Mike Vela, Frank Wood and Nick (Rosa Hoffmann); Sister Lyn Garrison (Bobby), Edward T. Kiernan, Andrea Peaks, Kristina Scott, Alicia Castaldo and Nicholas Castaldo. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, please do something that Alan would do without hesitation, be generous, look upon someone in need and help without advertising it and, as Alan once said, help comes in many ways and, no questions asked.
