He is survived by: his wife Rose; his daughters, Dana and Lori (Mark); and his siblings, Vincent Giammattei (Carina) and Patricia Puglielle (late Ralph). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
