She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John C. Pilla; her nephew Ernest Melita (Teri); her brother Salvatore Silvestro (Deborah Silvestro); her parents, Gaetana Silvestro and Giuseppe Silvestro; and her siblings, Lucia Melita Laird and Frank Silvestro. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc. (481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh, NY 12550). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (5468 Rte 9W, Newburgh, NY 12550).
