The memory of Barbara Joan Dawes Chapman Callaghan (Newburgh, New York), who passed away on June 29, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She is survived by: her siblings, Regina Howard, Chris Dawes, Hank Dawes and Gregory Dawes; her daughters, Jocelyn Chapman and Jennifer Chapman; her grandson Milo Trujillo; her daughter Emma Gullen; and also, Kelly Harvey, Shelly Gullen and Darren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (1250 State, Rt. 32, Plattekill, NY 12568). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Charles Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to local food banks.
