She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Heyman and Bertha VanNatter; her husband Louis A. Messina; her son-in-law Carlos A. Rivera; her siblings, Helen Messina, Barbara Redner, Charlene Ortega and Donald VanNatter; and her brothers-in-law, Carmen Messina, Fred Messina (Junior) and Robert Redner.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Rivera, Lou-Ann Partington (Paul) and Anthony L. Messina (Debbie); her siblings, John VanNatter (Tillie) and Doris Arquitte; and her sisters-in-law, Joan Messina and Josephine Brown. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
