With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn K. Post (Newburgh, New York), born in Dansville, New York, who passed away on March 26, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Caroline Leach Kelly and Clement Alpheus Kelly; her brothers, James Kelly of Liverpool, NY, Richard Kelly of Lithgow, Australia and Clement A.; and her son James F. Post of Middletown, NY.

She is survived by: her former husband Frederick H. Post; her spouse S. Air Force Chief Warrant; her children, Michael H. Post (Renee), Barbara Barone (Steve), Nancy Houghtaling (Bruce) of Lancaster, PA, Thomas C. Post of Walker Valley, NY and Vicki P. Vermilyea of Walden, NY.; her grandchildren, Amy Mitchell Pooley (Dave), Thomas A. Mitchell IV (Sahalie), Emily DiCuio (Anthony), Katie Vermilyea (Jan Michael Maluto), Paul D-M Vermilyea and Amy Nash (Evan); her niece Nora K.; and her nephew Don Lampman of Montour Falls, NY.. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
