It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles L. Daniel (Newburgh, New York), born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on September 18, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jephthah Daniel and Marjorie Daniel; and his brother Raymond Daniel (Farideh). He is survived by: his former spouse Arlina Gabison; his children, Darin of Middletown, NY and Robin Soares of Waterbury Connecticut; his wife Janet Summerville-Daniel; his sisters, Newburgh (Mayor Audrey L. Carey-Wright), Olymphia Green (Minute) of Bristow, VA and Beverly Robinson of Snellville, GA; his son Demosthenes Elkridge MD (Jane); his adoptive daughters, Debbie Fishe (Aldric), Decerie Herrera (Jesse) and Sandra Nakano Tokyo (Masayuki); and his foster brother Danny Mac. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
